Crop receipts to date: 2,228,120,058 lbs down -6.24% over last year. Monthly new crop receipts: The monthly new crop received per ABC form 1 reporting - **December: 360,950,651 lbs** down -32.27% over November - **November: 532,908,857 lbs** ### 📊 TMS, Shipments & Commitments December's new crop receipts bring the 2023 Total Marketable Supply to 2,983,849,994 lbs, down -5.74% over last year. 2023/2024 % TMS shipped to date: 38.36% up +3.56% over last month up +5.45% over last year 2023/2024 % Sold to date: 59.73% up + 0.31% over last month and up +4.08% over last year ### 🚢 2023 Shipments December's shipments: 229,400,967 lbs down -3.73% over last month and up +11.17% over last year. 2023/2024 total shipments to date: 1,144,753,460 lbs up +9.87% over last year ### 🔮 Future Demand Total new sales for December: 219,416,818 lbs up +5.38% over last month and down -6.59% over last year. ### 📈 Crop Receipt Projections Following the December position report we run a forward projection on ABC form 1 crop receipts to get an idea of the total size of the crop. Our 2023 in-season forecasts are complete and have not been updated since we released a final forecast in July. For our crop receipt projection, we only use ABC form 1 crop receipt data for current and historical years. The model we use looks for a pattern in how crop receipts are coming in month over month. As of December ABC form 1 crop receipts, final crop receipts are projected to be 2.29-2.41 B lbs.
